We spent one night in the Twin Room with Hot-Spring Bath. The view from our room felt like a postcard, lush green nature surrounding us. The private onsen in the room let us unwind without needing to share space with others. The beds were comfortable, giving us a good night's rest. The air conditioning worked excellently, a rarity in many Japanese hotels. Breakfast was buffet style, offering a decent variety, but nothing stood out. The staff were always professional and friendly, making an effort to ensure we felt welcomed. The only downside was the distance from the nearest train station. the twenty-minute uphill walk was tiring after a day out. Plus, some areas of the hotel showed signs of wear, like the carpets in the dining area. Overall, our stay was pleasant despite a few small issues.

It was just a suitable option for a weekend excursion in Hakone with good price-quality ratio. We loved sleeping on the floor beds, adding a unique touch to our stay. Consider taking a taxi from the station to avoid long walks in the rain.

Cozy room, fantastic breakfast, and a convenient location made my stay enjoyable as I loved the comfortable room with a hot-spring bath and the delicious food options including both Japanese and Western choices while being just a short distance from the nearest airport.
